In collaboration with Nordisk Film and Nina Hald, Carré Jewellery presents a uniquely designed pair of limited-edition earrings.
Nordisk Film pays tribute to Hollywood's love affair with the jewellery industry, which has shaped pop culture entertainment for more than 75 years, by having 40 designers contribute to a traveling exhibition in 3 cinemas across the country.
CLEOPATRA
Under the heading Jewellery - Film - Moments, Carré's creative director Shiri Rosenzweig has designed a very special pair of earrings inspired by Elisabeth Taylor's iconic role as Cleopatra in the film of the same name from 1963.
PRECIOUS STONE IN THE JEWELLERY
The jewellery is composed of Malachite, Amethyst, Turquoise and Black Agate. The gems are set in two flower formations with a band of Turquoise in the middle.
Cleopatra was very fond of gems, and had a large collection of Emeralds and Pearls, and would even crush gems into a fine powder, which she used for eyeshadow.
