BRACELETS
Submit your Carré bracelet in one of our stores if it changes shape or breaks - we can probably help you and fix it. Bangles can shape themselves to your wrist with use and bracelets can break from daily wear and tear.
CHAINS
Be aware of your chain getting stuck in your clothes, hair or buttons. A sudden pull can cause them to break. Regardless of their quality, the links are delicate and can break when pulled.
LOCKS
Regularly check your gemstone settings and chain locks. If your gemstone or lock feels loose, please contact our customer service to get an assessment.
STORAGE
Store your jewellery in your Carré jewellery box or tray. The jewellery box holds the jewellery protected and will keep it beautiful for longer.

Your jewellery in gold plated silver contains 92.5% pure silver. The rest are binding metals. Your Carré jewellery is guaranteed nickel-free.
Your gold plated jewellery has received a surface treatment that will wear over time. Wear depends, among other things, on frequency of use, acid in your skin, and storage of your jewellery.
Your gold plated jewellery can be replated when it has become worn. This is a service we can assist you with. Contact one of our stores, where we will do our best to make your jewellery as beautiful as new again.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR STERLING SILVER JEWELLERY
Your jewellery in sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver. The rest are binding metals. Your Carré jewellery is guaranteed nickel-free.
Your silver jewellery naturally oxidizes over time, which is seen by the surface turning black. This can be removed with a special polishing cloth for jewellery, which can be found at most goldsmiths. You can also bring the jewellery to one of our stores, where we can polish the jewellery for you.
Your silver jewellery can become dirty over time from grease and dirt. It is especially in indentations or around the gemstone that it can settle. You can remove grease and dirt with some warm water, soap, and a toothbrush. If you need a more thorough cleaning of your jewellery, we can offer this service – contact one of our stores, where we will try to help you.
If your silver jewellery has received a surface treatment such as oxidization, this will wear off over time. The oxidization is an artificial aging of your jewellery, and naturally wears off when the jewellery is in use. Wear depends, among other things, on hand washing, acid in your skin, and storing your jewellery in humid environments. Your oxidized jewellery can be re-oxidized when it wears. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELLERY IN 9 & 10 KARAT GOLD
Your jewellery in 10 karat gold contains 41.7% pure gold. And your jewellery in 9 karat gold contains 37.5% pure gold. The rest is silver and binding metals. Your Carré jewellery is guaranteed nickel-free.
Over time, your gold jewellery can become dirty with grease and dirt. It especially accumulates in indentations or around the gemstone. You can remove grease and dirt with some warm water, soap, and a toothbrush. If you need a more thorough cleaning of your jewellery, we can offer this service – please visit one of our stores, where we will try to help you.
You should regularly check the settings on your gold jewellery. When you wear your jewellery, it is exposed to normal wear and impacts. This can cause the gemstones to become loose. If your gemstone becomes loose, we can offer to have our goldsmith secure it again.
